X vs O Privacy Policy
Majination Labs LLC (“Majination Labs”, “we”, “us”) makes X vs O, a tic-tac-toe game for iPhone and iPad (“X vs O”). This policy explains what information X vs O handles, where it goes, and the choices you have.
The short version
- X vs O has no accounts of its own, no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases.
- Your scores, settings, player names and unlocked themes are stored on your device.
- Online play, leaderboards and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. If you don’t use Game Center, X vs O never connects to the internet.
- We don’t collect, sell or share your personal information, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
What stays on your device
The player names you type in, your high scores, game counts, unlocked themes, the theme you’ve picked, and your sound and music settings are saved on your device in the app’s own storage. They aren’t sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Game Center
X vs O works with Apple’s Game Center, which you can sign in to or leave off in your device’s Settings. When you’re signed in, Apple’s Game Center service handles:
- Leaderboards. Your best score for each difficulty is submitted to the X vs O leaderboards, shown with your Game Center nickname.
- Achievements. Unlocking a theme reports the matching achievement to Game Center.
- Online matches. When you play online, the game sends the moves of that match (the board, whose turn it is, and the round) to your opponent through Game Center. X vs O shows your opponent’s Game Center nickname, and yours to them.
This information is processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). Majination Labs doesn’t run its own game servers and doesn’t receive your Game Center identity, friends list, match history or scores. X vs O has no chat and no way to send messages, photos or other content to other players.
What we don’t do
- No advertising, advertising identifiers or tracking.
- No analytics or third-party software development kits that collect data.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.
- No accounts, passwords or email collection inside the app.
Children
X vs O is suitable for all ages and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Online play goes through Game Center, where Apple’s parental controls (Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Game Center) can turn off multiplayer games, adding friends and more.
Your choices
- Turn Game Center off, or sign out, in your device’s Settings to keep X vs O fully offline.
- Delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device.
- To manage or delete your Game Center data, use Apple’s Data and Privacy page at privacy.apple.com.
Support requests
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you, and we don’t share them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how X vs O handles information, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant, we’ll also say so in the app’s release notes.
